What is CBD?

Cannabidiol, or CBD, is a non-intoxicating component of the cannabis plant with enormous therapeutic potential. Researchers are currently studying the effects of CBD on a wide range of conditions including chronic pain, insomnia, PTSD, anxiety, epilepsy, dementia and more.

Is CBD oil safe for pets?

CBD has been shown in studies to have a beneficial effect on mammals. However, very little research has been done into pets and CBD respectively. We advise all pet owners to consult with their qualified veterinarian before giving their pets CBD.

Is CBD Legal?

In The United States, CBD product produced from the seeds and stalks of industrial hemp is legal to ship across state lines. Federal law does however dictate that shipped CBD must contain less than .3% THC for it to be available for purchase, shipment, or sale.

Will CBD show up on a drug test?

It is possible for CBD to show up on a typical drug screening. However, for the most part CBD is unlikely to show up on a drug test.

Will CBD get me high?

CBD alone will not get you “high”. The chemical that contributes to a “buzz” or “high” is THC. In some CBD, there exists only small trace amounts of THC. Users interested in taking advantage of the benefits CBD has to offer should not be concerned about potential high.

Will CBD interact with my other medications?

At low doses of CBD, less than 150mg total per day, it is unlikely that significant drug-herb interactions will occur. However it is always possible that drug-herb interactions can occur, and this is more likely the higher the dose. If you are taking a medication where maintaining a certain blood level is critical- such as anti-seizure, anti-viral, blood-thinning medications- talk with your health care provider or pharmacist before trying CBD.
